SAVING THE WORLD’S MOST ENDANGERED CAT

Screen Shot 2020-06-15 at 11.07.31 AM (2)What a privilege it was for me to write and produce this film on the critically endangered Iberian Lynx.

This is one of conservation’s real success stories. The Iberian Lynx was reduced to only ninety left in the wild  in the 1990’s.

Yet with meticulous planning and a thorough breeding and re-introduction program, this lynx, small by lynx standards, has come back from the vortex, and now numbers over 800 in the wild. Not out of the woods yet, but getting there.

It was great to work with the teams responsible, and to make this film for the Curiosity Stream team who backed us up the whole way.

If you ever visit Spain or Portugal, take some time, and you will be able to see wild lynxes, living wild, once more – what a privilege !
